RetroWarwick show 10th August 2014

Hi Folks!

RetroWarwick is back for its 4th year. The date is confirmed as Sunday 11th August 2013, in Warwick's central Market Square (CV34 4SA). The square will be closed off to normal road traffic, allowing retro/classic/hotrod parking only.

Last year we had 130+ cars parked up in the Square and spilling out to the surrounding streets in the town centre



Pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, museums and a big ;D castle all on site. Best of all its free and there is no requirment to pre-book......just turn up and park.

Due to how busy the vent now gets and the constraint on space, there is a general cut-off date of 1990 (car/model must be built or registered in or before 1990). Also, there is no room for support vans or trailers.

Yey I'll be down again in the Polo Such a good event last year, and it's the weekend before the Gathering again. Would definately recommend

.....and the Mods 'n' Rockers run will start from the Square at 1030am. So expect to see 100+ classic scooters and bikes.

I guess the Porker will not be allowed in? .

Looks cool, if I'm about in the area in august i may pop down and try to park my humble classic amongst all those highly polished things

My daily driven mk2 Polo got plenty of attention last year, I wouldn't worry about bringing an MGB

when did the 944 first come out?.....but you're not short of classics though.....

when did the 944 first come out?.....but you're not short of classics though.....

I may have a friend (well, the other owner) of the 205 come down if he doesn't bring his uber mint Mini Pickup along (it only left his garage a handful of times since being restored!

944 came out in '82 with the Turbo coming out in '85. Mine is not far off being one of the last 944s made .

For 2013, RetroWarwick will be supporting www.vulcantothesky.org . XH558 "The Spirit Of Great Britain" is the only airworthy example of the Avro Vulcan V bomber and is maintained by charitable donations. The XH558 team will be coming along to RetroWarwick with info about XH558 and goodies to buy.

RetroWarwick is a free event so any contributions to XH558 would be more than welcome.

Just a reminder that Retrowarwick is about 4 weeks away (11.08.13). If its dry, expect to see over 130 cars. The Mods n Rockers run will also be starting from the Square at 1030, so 100+ classic scooters and bikes.

The Square has 4 pubs to cater for all tastes and pockets plus coffee shops and restaurants, with plenty of outdoor seating amongst the cars.

RetroWarwick is FREE and no requirement to pre-book. Cars must be pre-1990 to keep the retro theme. (PM me with any queries).
