And these Esprits were around at the same time, in the same championship too. I've got all the old programmes somewhere so I guess I could see if I can find out more!

First aston isn't the same one,..
I used to know the name of the guy that owns the e-type in the top photo,.. he stacked it badly at Brands one year completely destroyed the front end buckled the lot,.. was back on the track the next year. For a minute I thought it was Win Percy,.. but it isn't,.. wish I could remember the name.
Yeah the Yellow one is an ex-hillclimb car that the guy took circuit racing. Not Marshall driving,.. only Aston I ever saw leave Gerry Marshall's - Marsh Plant Hire car standing.

Interesting!
I knew you'd know more. I'll see if I can find the programmes and find the E-Type owners name...

As a side note,.. I didn't realise that Win Percy had a big accident at the end of last year,.. paralysed from the waist down : www.jag-lovers.org/winpercy/wp.php3Might make a recovery,.. lets hope so,.. fantastic driver!

I just found one of the Oulton Park programmes, that E-Type was driven by Malcom Hamilton...
And the aston (although I'm not sure which one!) by Mike Cousins, sponsored by Aston Engineering.
