@vulgarlor been looking at rover 25/mgzr either early or facelift
the body and seats are the only things that are not been reused, spent a bit of time on the body but most work went into the chassis
@ettorebuggati Pontiac trans sport looks ok but like poor quality wobbly children's play pony curse word

Cool project, as others have said, it's a nicely proportioned car. What about Daewoo Espero lights?

Or civic shuttle lights: Or CRX: In fact a lot of Honda's around that age could suit it

I am so glad I'm not the only one thinking of something unique.just to throw a spanner in the works what about american style R/T where the front is blanked off and when you turn on the lights the covers flip up or slide to the side.

Alternatively, there's the Aston Martin Bulldog set up. Drop down bodywork rather than pop-up lights, as I understand it.

Another alternative. These are all in one, and might be small enough diameter to fit in the original light recesses. Main and dip are in the main lens, sidelight, indicators and DRLs are in the LED ring. www.cbsonline.co.uk/category/All_In_One_Headlamps,b.html

I'm glad to see the eurocco finally getting some love , it was lingering around various places local to me for years . The first time I saw it was sitting in somebodies garden maybe 20 or so years ago next to a white Lotus Eclat , they both sat there untouched for years until one day a mate of mine bought the two of them . He hung onto the Eclat for a while as he was breaking it for bits for his Hot Rod project ( I managed to blag the eclat rims off him though . He passed the Eurocco onto another mate of mine whos a serial splitscreen VW barndoor fanatic ) , the Eurocco sat under an apple tree for a good while ( too many projects and too little time ! ) until it was advertised for sale around the place ( including on here IIRC ) . I've seen it on ebay a few times since then so I'm chuffed to see somebody doing something with it ! Personally I always thought it would've looked great slammed on moon discs and painted like a Bonneville salt lake racer as it's a nice swoopy shape . Anyway , sorry to rabble on , I look forward to seeing the progress ....

Axolotls are brilliant, you should fit pink bottle brushes to your front bumper to complete the look now
