I love them, had mine since I was 18 (now 32), bought it as a rotten wreck with my Student loan money. It's been through many changes etc, current guise with the 1.8 MX5 engine, and 9j Rota's. Should be drivable this weekend. Have you used the mx5 gearbox to? Whats the car go/drive like? had a couple of mx5,s in the past and found the 1.6 better than the 1.8

I was just thinking today about how a lowered rubber bumper B could be quite cool since they're generally not liked at the moment, that photoshop has just confirmed that thought for me

Sure the chrome bumper ones are typically better looking, and look like a proper classic 1960s sports car, and the rubber bumper looks like it has a moustache, and the ride height is just wrong, but they have that real 70s vibe, and still look fantastic. That photoshop is the result of me trying to work out if the plans in my head will look as well as I think. I'm pleased with the vision

Contrary to popular opinion, I do have mechanical sympathy, I always feel sorry for the cars I drive.

After looking at them all side by side, i think its the rear arch height that makes the difference, the white one with green stripes for example nails the rear arch for me, whereas the black one with the police looking at it looks like there isn't enough arch cut out of it if that makes sense? haha

more info needed!! for the lifted thread been thinking of what i'd do if i ended up with an mgb-gt, i think the arch mods here are a really well done, a very nice stage one of what i'd do. raised rounded archs bigger wheels. just needs to have a more nose down stance.

Rotary power I know what you mean about the round arch mods, I have been thinking about them for my GT, but decided against it as the wheels I've bought aren't really extreme enough to get away with it.
