These do look good in black. Reminds me of the Lister XJC.
In relation to the above car I think, from piston heads forum.
Hi there, just spotted this thread. The magazine article on the car you are refering to was in Jaguar World June 1999.I owned that car and bought it from the guy driving it in the article Tony Cavell.I was the 23rd owner although 2 previous owners had owned it more than once.It came with a history file totalling over £155,000 when I got it.It had had a 7.4 litre twin supercharged engine at it's peak delivering 604BHP but when I owned it it had a 7 litre fuel injected delivering 425BHP.I sold it about 8 years ago with the registration XKM 836.When I sold it I didn't have a Digital Camera so I don't have any scanned in pics of it but it was truly a thing of beauty.
Dropped in to see a customer at his garage once and he had a mint XJC lurking in the corner. Apparently he'd just sorted the rear arches and a minor electrical fault. Oh, and fitted a 7 litre Lister lump. My XJC wasn't as happy as any of those in this thread. Terminal tinworm saw it go round the track. Would love a good one.....
