Last two weeks I was on vacations and I was in garage most of the time. The engine is painted , valves are tuned , carburetor is cleaned , oil , thermostat , antifreeze , filters, some rubber hoseas and spark plugs are replaced . Brakes -new discs , brake pads , rear brake cylinders and brake hoses are installed Gearbox - Oil and rear seal are replaced All suspension rubber parts that were worn are changed New track road ends are replaced. Exhaust is fixed. I replaced tires with newer ones and now I don't have 4 tires in 4 different dimensions And most importantly , I found an old shift lever from my grandpa while I was looking for some screws. I tought that it's lost so immediately insetalled it Here are the pictures:

I wasn't on the forum for some time. I had some problems with paperwork so I couldn't get plates for the car but I managed to solve this, and I got married in the meantime Here are some pics:

Congratulations...on getting married and for a top job on this wonderfully yellow Avenger! Is it Sundance Yellow? Still a very neat, handsome design now. I love that you've kept it stock-looking. The paint does all the talking

Thanks:)
Original color was Sunflower yellow, but I wanted darkerer color like Sundance Yellow on Avenger Tiger. I picked color from pallete so it's probably not exact match, but is verry close to to Sundance Yellow.

MOT is closer and closer so I need new front and rear shock absorbers for my car. It's model with front discs. Shipping from GB is huge so I want to find replacement or something that I can fit localy.
For front absorbers i found Kayaba KYB 363005 but i'm not 100 % sure that I will find them here so if someone has alternative please help.
For rear I don't know. Does anyone now part number for absorbers or from which car can I fit them ?

Holy macaroni this car looks ACE!!!! All UK avengers have suffered terrible rust and have been repaired with ill-fitting pattern panels so one with panel gaps like that is a rare sight!!!!

That carburettor looks nice.
In the pictures, the spares car doesn't look very rusty apart from the end of the sills. Is the rust all underneath?

Rust is underneath because previous owner used it only for driving in woods and to vineyard for 6-7 years. Rocker panels and fenders have huge fixes with Polyurethane foam - car is dirty so it's not very visible on pictures.
Car is not unrepairable bad but it need repairs wherever you look and it's not worth to save it. It will be great donor car. I will strip and store everything I can and keep spares for yellow one. Doors, roof, and screens are same, mechanics are almost the same. MK2 has brakes servo so I will use it on yellow one. All in all I can use a lot of parts from MK2.
