Oh you're lucky..well at least with the front. From what ive been told its common for them to leak through the front and tricky to stop. Ive certainly had no luck so far at stopping it. I want to get a new windscreen too but ive also read that there is no decent proper profile rubbber for the front. the rear is even harder to get?
NZ weather varies around the country but where I live, top of the south, its very hot in summer and mild in winter. If its a hot day it will be clear and sunny. But boy- we can certainly get rain! Weather patterns certainly changing and getting much harsher storms. But back to Vivas... are you planning to inject this in the future?

I would love to put throttle boddies on it but they're so expensive plus if I did I'd want them on an angled manifold so they sit level which would give me room for a decent airbox but to do that I need to move the battery and servo/master cylinder

Or tinypic or postimage.Org
TBs would be great. You could move battery into boot. Easy as and makes engine bay so much tidier.

Cool! 300 Tdi should make it go nicely as well, especially if the pump and wastegate have been altered. Can't wait to see more of progress on this one.

I think the Viva looks perfect on black rims. It's a cracking car and the current ride height is spot on too.

I also think the black banded steels look great. I happen to run a set on my Imp

Yeah I too like the black steels.
What springs are you running in the back? What poundage? I think I might need stiffer springs to stop it squatting so much under hard acceleration. I'm running Holden Torana springs all round but have no idea what rating. Just stiffer/lower than standard.

Thanks everyone, it was up for sale a while ago but I'm loving it again now and I'm slowly improving bits and making it a better car to drive
I don't know what poundage the rears are, they're corsa lowering springs with adjustable platforms that I brought new on eBay for £20
