Back needs to be lower dude I thought That, but the more I look at it the more I like the nose down Stance, plus it's far easier to get it in the garage with a bit of clearnce at the back. Anyway, before all of that, I need to get a new servo. Looks Like a £120 part should sort it. I'm not going for the standard Girling MK2a as it's massively overpriced. Apparently until that arrives I can bypass the servo and have non assisted brakes - fine for shuffling round the block and on the driveway.

Well, the servo is now bypassed and I'm shocked to say the brake pedal if anything actually feels better than ever, so I'm not sure if the servo has ever been 'right'. Just need a couple of slow test drives around the block now to see how it fairs - then maybe even a trip out to Snetterton for Retro Kings on 25th Sept.

Saw the above picture and thought "wow that rake looks good!" Saw the second picture and thought "The back needs to be lowered!" Either way its a cool looking motor. Great interiors on these as well!

Having previously owned a 1961 100 and a 1957 105s, gotta say yours looks so much better.
I have just put my favourite 105s in the cornering hard thread if you want a bit more inspiration.

OK, so I've bypassed the servo, just need to bleed the system and test a bit more now had a slight leak first attempt. BUT! I now have a poor running issue, obvious thought is vacuum leak, but the pipe is sealed well and is not exhibiting fast idle - More the opposite. Misses and pops when revving - I did notice a split in my air filter - so perhaps its just very sensitive to the extra air flow. I'll chuck on another and find out. Hopefully back out and about by Sunday for a trip to Snetterton. If not definately Shotley in October if the all dayer I've heard about goes ahead.

Thanks chap, I'd seen that racing one a lot - driven by a lady if memory serves me correctly. Very nicer car it is too.

Ok I'm curse word with photoshop type things (free photofiltre) but I think something along these lines needs to happen to the rear end , though does it make it look like too much of a slab of blue ? I also need to get a fuel filler door , or move it inside and smooth it off.

Finally a small ammount of progress has been made, life with a wife and 2 under 3's make it hard to get garage time. Firstly thanks to Phil (Low Standards) for sourcing a company to make some long ass U bolts these were spot on and did the trick to make lowering by 2" possible. It would also manage a 3" drop which may or may not follow. I also had a message from a friend saying he had some old rover spares laying about if i'd like them free of charge - Then he turned up with front and rear bumpers, with over riders, they just need a little tweaking. and some leather seat material to see if I can repair mine (not pictured) I just need to re-do a rear number plate light and bleed the brakes , then fit an exhaust silencer (straight through is too loud!) and it'll be ready to MOT again - at my current work rate that could take another 4 months - Boo!

could do with a set of fibreglass front wings or repair sections - but don't have the £ currently . There is a lot of filler from some previous owner accident damage in those wings

I was going to suggest fitting the bumpers - looks a lot better - show us the rear.
I reckon that lower profile cross-plies would work at the back, those look like truck tyres.

I could also do with new wings Group buy!!!!!! A mate of mine has a selection of P4 wings. Apparently worth little or nothing as you can't give them away. If there's interest I'll ask him if he's willing to part with them for some pound notes.

I'd be interested in a driver side wing at the very least , maybe a pair if the condition / price is reasonable.
