think that's the one looks great and sounds fantastic thought it had louvers on it as well but maybe that's the front, not the sort of car you see everyday.

^ Photos would be useful... The mk1 Jetta had an awkward chunk of metal strapped to its . Looks ok from this angle... but when you look at the side profile, it just doesn't quite work. Having said said, I've owned two and really like them, regardless . It seems rare that they're photographed from the side view - three quarter is way more popular, funnily enough... Sort of look like they just placed a mirror behind the b pillar

Vertical boot on a Y10, and why were they mostly black instead of body coloured? Magnums/Firenzas were a bit awkward. Especially in the estate/hatch format. Talbot/Chrysler Alpine. Suzuki X90's gotta count too. Honda Aerodeck with its hatch/roof/boot thing going on. [ Hillman Avenger Volvo 480

I always thought this was a weird boot arrangement on the Kadett D; Why would you want a car that look exactly the same as the hatchback but with a more limited boot opening?

I always thought this was a weird boot arrangement on the Kadett D; Why would you want a car that look exactly the same as the hatchback but with a more limited boot opening? I'd forgotten all about those. I can't remember if it came before the proper hatchback Kadett/Astra or did it run concurrently? And while we're on the topic of nor really hatchbacks, allow me to present the Lancia Gamma. flic.kr/p/7W2dGy(Sorry posted photo wrongly)

The Banham Bat is pretty strange, even for a kitcar: And while I would *love* a Lancia Hyena, the back end is a little odd...
