How about £800, not too bad for a car with over 200k on the clock needing a clutch and work for an MOT ??

ive priced the parts up - clutch is £100 (you can get the m20 single flywheel conversions for £150) - roof and screen 2nd hand are around £200
Bodywork - around £300 if your fussy about it (bonnet, front and rear bumpers are main culprits) but if you can do all that yourself, your quids in.
I can negotiate a bit on price, but the car has an MOT and it does drive - only when you put your foot down in between gears does it slip a bit - its ok through the revs and I had an old e36 which had a similar issue to this, and I drove it for 10k before I sold it on.

If £600 was spent and all the work carried out by the new owner then it would struggle to sell for £1500 due to the mileage this is why I value the car at £800.

why are you buying only to sell it??
an identical one with 187k on the clock without the screen and clutch issue went for over £2k on ebay.
these cars also track and drift very well - you can get cages for them and remove the roof altogether, and put in an uprated clutch if wanted.
I can do all the work and sell it for more - but why should I? I'm giving the person who buys it an opportunity to purchase at a lower price and decide what parts to put in themselves - you might want an uprated clutch for example!
anyway - I don't have to justify myself or the price to you. if I wanted £800 for it, I would have advertised it for around that price!
