Debating 10mm rear hub-centric spacers also, would they detriment handing having the rear track 20mm wider overall?

My recent thoughts are go up a profile in rear tyre instead, they're currently 235/40 R18, so if I got 245/40 R18 that would be 10mm wider? Or would that manifest as 5mm each tyre wall, so I'd want 255/40 R18?

Should improve handling but will put extra strain on all of the suspension componants especially wheel bearings

the 245/40/18 will give you and extra 5mm each side of the tyre (10mm extra track) and an additional 8mm in over all diameter over a 235/40/18

a 255/40/18 would give you 10mm either side of the tyre and an additional 16mm overall height.

Fortunately I sold the 606 & auto box to a guy fitting them into a LR 101 forward control! divorced LT230, etc etc. So it's heart lives on, in my favourite, the classic landy..
