This Baker's Van is going to need a bit of bread until it rolls. But it's a slice of history. Good luck with yer split tin!

Lovely piece of machinery, you've got there!
Hopefully it's possible, to keep it as original as possible.

Very nice, the old one looks like it's in an old chicken shed or something.

No loafing around until it's done. 50/50 chance of the camper seeing the road again though.

Firstly i apologise for the mk2 Escort axle! been having so many probs connection wise with Bt and their so called megabyte supply etc.... turns out i am running 1.5 bpsi disgusting! took me 40 mins to upload the pics and I was losing my temper! Anyway enough of me talking junk! The rears will be Banded, poss the fronts (ever so slightly) the rear floor is already taken care of, yes, an old chicken barn was where they were. As for the Patina........ it is most def' being kept! the number for the Basildon branch has worn away, and I will not be re-painting it, it will be lacquered, some of the dents will be knocked out but most of them will be kept. I can still get all the lights and rubber items, the engine will have a freshen up but staying standard, more than likely lowered a tad, and I will be looking for as many photo's pics, posters magazine cut outs etc to paste on the front interior roof. Thanks for all the great comments, i will be updating details etc as it happens. Thanks again.

thats amazingly cool, don't think ive ever seen one or heared of them. As said, the patina is alomost magical and it would be a shame to loose it, all it needs is a wax and a drop. luv it.

Lovely find, I hear it was a popular bakery in the past. This was their previous delivery vehicle:

Fantastic find! Hope it is not too kippered underneath. If Stag wheels fit then that means the stud pattern is 4.5" so that opens a whole heap of possibilities. *Attention watercooled VW owners. THIS is a breadvan.
