I could do with some help with my JVC stereo... if anyone else has a similar one could you tell me how to get the 3.5 jack to work? I bought the extention KS-U57 and i cant find the "EXT-in" setting on the Stereo ... it must be a simple thing but ive been trying for days now when i get in the car and i wouldnt mind getting a refund if the cable just doesnt work. Any ideas? I'm not sure if theres any difference between the KS-U58 but i got the 57... it doesnt seem to recognise it at all!!! its getting so frustrating. Chris

I have one of these, it was annoying that a special cable was needed to use an mp3 player, but as I rarely use the head unit anyway I didnt need to buy one, I occasionally use the USB socket on the front which will control an MP3 player, or just plug in a USB memory stick with MP3's on.
