4 Car workshop with lift in East London, anyone interested?

Time has come to earn some extra funds, so looking to rent out my old mans old workshop in the near future. Located in Hackney. Can fit 4 cars in comfortably, 2 post lift, toilet and electrics. Also has a phone line but that's been disconnected for the better half of 15 years. Still some rubbish in there at the moment as i've been stripping my Escort for spares, waiting on the scrappy to come over to pick that up and nigh on 30 years of scrap metal (I wish I was joking here!), and the roof also needs looking at, but that'll all be sorted before the keys are handed over. If anyone is interested just give me a shout and I could grab some pics!

I'd be interested in going in on this but 4 cars and a lift is probably more than I'd need by myself. What kind of arrangement are you looking at? Renting the whole thing to someone or taking people on for a car bay each?

A friend and I might be interested, but could be too far away to be feasible and most likely too expensive!

Do you have the postcode as an indication please, and the rent per month (including bills)?

Would ideally like the whole thing to go as one. The problem with renting it out to multiple people is the fact the entrance is only 1 car wide so in order to move a car at the back out all the ones in front of it need to be moved.

Postcode is E9 6AU, rent would be around £800 per month plus bills.

Haven't managed to get anything done to it and don't know when I will be able to if i'm honest mate. Need to finish off my mk1 before I can make some room in there as my garage is an absolute mess and can't stick another car in there yet. Will have to spend a good week in there to get it into a rentable state.



A few pics I could find just for size. Obviously the place would be cleaned and painted.





Can see the entrance, room for 3 cars but anything wide will be a squeeze.

The "L" shaped area, plenty of space here, some cabinets too. Can easily fit a large car in here with plenty of working space either side.

Not much really, there's only 1 car left in there now and it's cleaned up a bit. But i've not had anytime to clear up in there. If you need somewhere to store a car in a pinch though could possibly sort something out?

Hi all, remembered my login details and completely forgot about this thread if i'm honest.

All the cars are cleared out now, along with close to 700kg of scrap metal. I started sifting through some things and binning/selling as I go along.

Realistically need to get a skip in there and do a few autojumbles. Tested the lift the other day and it does work but after 17 years of inactivity if it's going to stay in there it needs to be rebuilt.

Main problem is still getting the roof and back wall sorted, it's more watertight but still not 100%.
