I got myself one of these... Which isn't amazing quality but it saves walking up to the top shed all the time. And I got some clamps and a file and some flap discs... That counts as car stuff, right? Oh.. but I bought it all myself... I'm so lonely.... *sobs*

Quite looking forward to building the model, not built one in years. I hope you're going to slam it and band the wheels ?! They look sooooo good like that!

I probably should since I'm not allowed to do it to the real thing I know what you mean, I get told off for buying tunning bits for mine. As she keeps telling me it's only a Trabant.

I think the obscure wrapped present looks a lot like a box trolley.
I got a golf mk1 model kit, a Haynes V8 engine and Guy Martin's book (not strictly cars but speed non-the-less)

Got a couple of t-shirts and the like. Actually mostly guitar/motorbike related stuff than car. Girlfriend bought me one of those airfix Triumph Heralds to do, so I went and spent most of the 26th and 27th building it haha. Actually considering going in and buying some more, quite enjoyed it. Also, I am rubbish at painting, but at least it looks a bit more me

Well you lot have all done better than me. No car presents for me this year (although I did buy myself another mk1 golf at the end of October if that counts?)
But a couple of years ago the mother in law 'treated' me to the lovely gift of a warm mitt with an ice scraper on the end of it. It was all brightly coloured and flowery, imagine a very camp Freddie Cruger scraping the ice from your screen and you get the idea.

The only motoring related pressie I received was a staple gun, so I can do some trim work on my cars.
The twins on the other hand did much better since their haul included quite a few Hot Wheels cars (all retro / hot rod as part of their education!) and I also made them each a wooden toy '32 Ford roadster.

I got some 'white van man' ford transit socks off my mother, sad thing is they were one of my favourite presents even though probably the cheapest. Sign of getting old I guess! Also, although not a gift, won a Dewalt cordless driver & impact gun set in the works Xmas raffle, which softened the blow of being away for Christmas a bit.
