to be honest with lack of interest seemed pointless pushing it was hoping for more peeps interested and the owner of snack bar has said he shut up @ 5.30pm that means we need to find a new location
any idea ?? any help to push the retro car seen in wales

Wow didn't realise there were meets in South Wales. Shame only four turned up but you gotta start somewhere. If you only have four but you all regularly meet keep meeting I say. Pick a different venue each month and incorporate a drive into it as well to keep it interesting.
Keep banging it up on here and chatting to mates and see what happens. I am in between vehicles at the mo so you don't want me turning up in my modern lowering the tone but hopefully be back to retro soon and will be keeping an eye out for you!
Keep it going and don't be dis heartened mate

I got an old smiley front transit if that could be classed as retro. But it is not modified except for white doors on the back that make it look like a gypsy wagon! Lol

Base your meetups at LLandow Circuit when there is a car track day (roughly every month). See their website. There is a cafe at the track.
Send a personal email to other classic car clubs in south wales to bump up the attendance (eg south wales classic car club; Gilbern car club; local branch of mini/mg/triumph/TVR clubs etc etc)

Any more news on this guys? I did message the guy who originally started this up but he hasn't messaged me back. Maybe after getting let down last time he can't be 455ed. Someone else want to take over the reins?

sorry Guys July is a busy month for me  with my two Vw shows ,,,,,yeah really want to get this up and running again my mate taken a pub over in Cwmcarn soon and would love to get us there  curry Night Sunday Breakfast Dave |
