Welcome to the sale of my Peugeot 106 diesel. It has 12.5 months MOT on it and it has previously had 2 owners. Furthermore it has a full service history under the previous owners, with plenty of paperwork. It also had very low mileage of 42,000 miles against it with the car being serviced regularly at the same garage.
Being a 106 Diesel Zest it comes with a number of features including electric windows, central locking, power steering, front fog lights, a sunroof and a rev counter, something which I have not seen on many other 106 diesels. Despite all of the accoutrements it still gets around 60MPG with up to 70MPG being possible
I spent the best part of 4 months hunting out a 106 1.5 Diesel until I saw this car. However, I have decided it is time to move on and try something a little different, with it serving its purpose well, being a cheap and pleasant daily driver.
The car drives well for its age with the interior being in great condition, a reflection of its low mileage.
So what is good?
• Solid and rust free car with a good chassis
• No issues with the rear beam
• A great feeling clutch
• Straight bodywork apart from front wing (pictured)
• Over half a tank of fuel left ; just drive it back to where you are going!
What is not so good?
• The wing has a dent. Purely cosmetic and very easy to swap. If you're bothered and you watch long enough, one will show up on eBay in the correct colour - they go for about £20
• Few light scratches and scuffs and defects as you would expect on an 18 year old car; but mostly not that noticeable. .
• Radio is present, but no code - I will include a fascia adapter for an aftermarket stereo.
