Mercedes W208 CLK 230 Sport Kompressor - Ultra Rare 6 Speed Manual
Fully Loaded: Xenons, Bose, DAB Radio, Glass Roof, Black Orthopaedic Leather, Electric Memory Seats, Power Folding Door Mirrors, 17" W211 E Class Rucha Alloys
2000 'X' Registration
132k Miles
Brilliant Silver with Black Leather
MOT until May 2015
Chassis Number: WDB2083482F169156
Supercharged 2.3 Litre / 2295 cc / 4 Cylinder / 16 Valve / 6 Speed Manual / 197 BHP / 145+ MPH / Rear Wheel Drive
Drives superb - much better and more fun than the automatic version
Mechanically sound and a fast car - picks up willingly in any gear and that supercharger whine becomes quite addictive!
I have had and driven a few of these, but this one definitely seems quicker than the others.
Everything works as it should. EML light is on, but in no way does it affect the drive or performance (suspected lambda sensor, according to previous owner). Whining sound at 40+mph from cheap rear budget tyre (I assure this is not diff or wheel bearing related and the sound appeared as soon as the 17" wheels were fitted).
Clean bodywork for the year and not the usual CLK rot box. Has marks and blemishes, consistent with age and mileage. A few small rust blisters here and there, mainly on drivers door and bottom of OSR quarter. NSF wing has a small dent and one front headlight washer cover is missing. Nothing major. Interior is in good condition, all solid with no rips or tears. Wheels have scuff marks and kerbing.
I got this for my wife to use as a stop gap whilst her new car is getting a once over. She has had a few BMWs and just didn't gel with this (they are two totally different driving experiences to be fair). So, I've bought her an old E46 to use temporarily and kept this for a few weeks and enjoyed it myself!
£1100 ovno - taking into account the high specification and being the rare 6 speed manual. Over £45k when new!
No swaps or PX please, cash only.
Located in Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 - please call me on 07984 395400 for any further information

Right folks, I have not had the chance to get the car valeted today (and it is rather dirty!).
Getting two tyres fitted on Monday morning, and will get it valeted straight after and take fresh photos.
I have used this to commute up and down to Newcastle for two weeks, covering around 1200 miles.
It has done just under 30mpg over the last 400 miles, which isn't too bad for a supercharged petrol.
I will upload some photos I quickly took today, just to give an idea of what is for sale!

That's great value especially it being a manual. Easy and cheap to gain another 25-30 Bhp too. GLWS.

I know it's been a while, but I had a nightmare getting the correct sized wheel bolts to fit the 17" alloys on (local dealer never had enough in stock, nor did the usual GSF / Euro Car Parts).
Luckily, STS in Slough know their stuff and managed to get the correct ones for me (highly recommended and a great place to visit with plenty of motoring memorabilia on show).
Anyway, here are the photos of it all cleaned up with the 17s (hey do have kerb marks, but are all solid).
All 4 tyres are good, two Pirelli and two budget (one front was fitted brand new the other day due to a puncture).

Its a great looking car for the money, as always I need to shift a car first before I could buy this.
