morning all,
I am about to take on a project for somebody to convert a 2cv van into a mobile coffee stand type thing. They want a hatch cutting in the side which extends the full length of the load area, and hinges along the roof line (off centre).
I wondered if anybody had done something similar before. I am a competent fabricator an welder and have a good idea of how I am going to fit the hinge and weatherproof the whole thing, but am curious as to the best method of bracing the structure to ensure it remains solid both during and after the conversion, and wondered if anybody had any ideas.
Pictures/diagrams to follow later on today.
thanks in advance
David.
