That sounds like an extended version of what I got. Lol You've got at least one of their contact details anyway as one of the group were in that Mk3 escort estate with the rs turbo lump and rust effect paint that was running up the hill. Brilliant - I'm really happy that I could help - isn't that what makes RR what it is? - just need to know what I've dragged back to Norfolk I have that guys details I'll email and ask if he can help I guess I'll also find out if the "perfect working order" claims were true - I have no doubt they were because everything kevfromwales said about everything was very believable - I'm still struggling with the volume of stuff that fitted a Daihatsu

I think we were going to luzz that rad in one of the e36 skidcars bri, so I don't think it was terminally buggered or leaky. The amount of daihatsu bits was quite surprising....

Almost on the road: b11 sunny breadvan, e36 tds, 325i skidcar,
nearly there: ford f250 tathauler, suzuki alto, u11 bluey
not for a while: ford pop, 32 rails,
not in this lifetime: ruby, '29 hillman

I bought something from the auction of tat, third time lucky for me and brilliantly hosted by kev, although it should fit my car, it's a nice thing to have in the mancave anyhow, one of the highlights of the best event of the year for me (and that's not said lightly). I will be donating next year!

I got rid of a wing for a car I don't own and bought a spoiler for a something. I also bought a fuse box cover that i don't need for a Monza. I have fitted it anyway though. As some of you may know, I needed a car stereo so the other thing I got was perfect. See the gap here that is stereo sized? Perfect. I love auctions.

I got rid of a wing for a car I don't own and bought a spoiler for a something. Oooh what car is that from?? I also bought a fuse box cover that i don't need for a Monza. I have fitted it anyway though. It's the fuse cover from B5 GSE............ Glad you've fitted it she lives on in other cars - careful tho - it may start to infect yours, it'll be barely noticable to start with - you'll find yourself applying the odd sticker, replacing rubber suspension bushes with poly and then it'll be a heart transplant with more valves, a roll cage may start growing and then you'll be shedding excess weight..... I was gonna say a gearbox swap from heathermillsmatic to spanish waiter but I know that's never gonna happen You'll not see it coming at all As some of you may know, I needed a car stereo so the other thing I got was perfect. See the gap here that is stereo sized? Perfect. I love auctions. Did it come in a vodka box with a CD changer!!! If it did you bought a considerable chunk of my donated tat!!!!

Ha. Yes the stereo was in a box with a CD changer. I believe the spoiler will be for a Daihatsu Cuore next year. In the mean time I've been fitting stickers to the Monza and buying 24 valve engines...

It was at this point that I realised the whole event had a huge comedy element - not just the brilliant auctioneering skills of kevfromwales but the whole RR collective were actively trying to bid each other up - the only way I could describe it was a comedy version of musical chairs where the music (bidding) stops you are left with the "chod" and pay up ^ This just about sums it up for me, being a willing participant in the game a few times ( to be referred to in future as "looser wins" ?) I got back home earlier today so ... does anyone have contact details for the chap who put the T-shirt bundle in the auction? I now need to catch up with him about my not-tat Thanks again to the organisers, KFW, and everyone who put stuff in or helped make it so entertaining!
