The oil being milky could just be moisture that has built up from standing for two years. Have you drained the old fuel and replaced it with fresh? Cars really don't like being sat for long periods of time.
As to weather its worth spending the money on it, that depends on how much you are attached to the car. Financially it probably isn't but if it's your dream car and you want to keep it for as long as you can, them what the hell.
