I wondered if there was some sort of door on the other side for the back seat passengers but no, that front panel really is the only "door" on the car.
Also notice the Russian made Gaz behind and the other car across the road which looks home made to me.

the front end treatment on those two are different, low volume or prototype maybe? particularly with the odd looking car in the background.
lots of interesting could have beens in warsaw pact countries that never made full production, usually for political/cost reasons.

The Ford Cirrus is a concept car based on a production Ford Escort RS1600 supplied by Ford of Britain and restyled by Woodall-Nicholson Ltd. It was first shown in 1972 at the Earl's Court Motor Show. The Cirrus was a result of the IBCAM British Styling Competition 1970, run by the Daily Telegraph Magazine. The prize, to have the car made in real life, £400 and two return tickets to East Africa and a stay in the Inter-Continental hotel Nairobi. At the time, the car was reported to have cost £25,000 to build.

I remember that being featured in Custom Car magazine in the early seventies.

First i Thought it was an Aro, but AUTOMECCANICA was founded in Greece in 1979 and produced the Zebra, a passenger/utility vehicle based on the Daihatsu Charade (which it also assembled). Around 2,000 units were produced in the company's factory in Thiva (Thebes), between 1980 and 1985.

Its been tricky even finding photos of this mini Lotus Esprit-like car, as there was only one example ever made - and it was destroyed some years ago. This comes from an unlikely manufacturer: FSO from Poland. The chassis and rear mounted engine were based on the Zastava while various Fiat parts were also used. It may look vaguely like an Esprit but thats where any resemblance ends. While the Lotus used a wonderful twin cam performance engine, this engine in the FSO produced a whopping 55bhp so top speed was a touch over 80mph. Actually there is one more thing it has in common with a Lotus Esprit. The FSO uses the rear lights from a Fiat 125p while the Esprit also uses the rear lights from a Fiat - the X/19.
