Just to clarify my confusion, if I only want to do the sprint on Saturday, and I'm not coming as part of a club, what do I need to buy, and when? Thanks

Err just to clarify We have limited spaces - it's looking like just 80 cars total - 40 morning and 40 afternoon Just like the last few gatherings we are looking for cars that embody/cover the diverse environment of RR so it will be an applications process which will not be first come first served. Just want to make it clear up front.

You'd be right the entry tickets in advance are unlimited but if you go back to the original post - you'll see why I clarified the track situation At Shelsley we took 120 cars plus half a dozen guests - Goodwood looks like 80 is the max we can manage.

Would love to attend this and camp over for the weekend. As my current car is a 2004 Monaro, what will this limit me too? I understand it won’t be in the show field but not sure about the track or camp site or other stuff? Sorry if this has been made clear already but I would like to confirm before booking. Many thanks

Many thanks No age restriction on cars in camping - not unusual for people to attend and camp in Moderns Edited to Add - Sorry I missed part of your question - Way too new for the Track Activity sorry

Now I have to ask the question... where should my old clunker be? I had assumed it just needed to be parked in camping, but then it is an old car so should it be somewhere else? Is there like a general parking place for old stuff so it joins the general retrorider's assembly of old cars?

Is there like a general parking place for old stuff so it joins the general retrorider's assembly of old cars? I thought we'd sorted you out - previous question related to someone coming to the event and camping but with a "modern" car - we have no restriction on people doing that from a camping perspective but in doing so the car will either stay in camping on show day (or could move of his own choice to general parking but we don't make or ask anyone do that) In your case For the Fri late afternoon/night and Sat day/night your car will be in the Camping area - unless you go out for provisions or some other off site activity For the Sunday of the show - I thought you'd got a very cunning plan and applied for the "club stand parking" as "BNMAC" (or similar) in which case you will then be in the club display area with your other "BNMAC" associates (can't call them friends) I liked your plan - well thought out

Ahaha, no sorry... That was just a joke, and one I'd already completely forgotten about. We/I have not progressed with that hair-brained idea. Sorry for the confusion. I'm fine with sticking my car in camping I just wondered if needed to put it somewhere else.
I feel like an idiot now.

Don't feel Like an idiot - go with that plan - it's a great idea - you'll pick up a few waifs and strays I'm sure For one thing I don't have a club to join in with on the Sunday if I take a car and most of my show related activity is Saturday based so I'll join you Be the first time I've seen a RR show/display since 2007.......

Okay well... I think I might need to start an official BNMAC thread in the appropriate place here on RR and if enough people really want to do it then we probably should. I honestly didn't think anything of it at the time.
It would give me extra incentive to get my car in reasonably presentable condition, so I'll start a BNMAC thread and see what happens.
