So my time with project Crimson Ghost is up. While it was still low mileage I wanted rid of it as knew the next MOT it would want work. My thoughts were that it was ideal as a donor for a T25 or T4 conversion as it has the AAZ in it. A guy has bout it to use as a cheap daily so it will continue live. Anyways picked this up from a mate. I don’t like the rust paint but I have plans for it.

Whether you believe you can, or you cannot, you're probably right.

Great van. I tried to kill one for years. Cheers, it’s hi mileage and crusty but I’m really liking it so far. Just need to sort the front ride height as it’s a little high

matt army green paint would look nice too Done to death on my eyes. Particularly when there are so many awesome graff paint colours available.

One of the first jobs was to get rid of the awful ‘chav rat look’ stickers Then I had a go with a DA at that awful rust paint. The finish on this stuff is awful, been rollered on but badly. Paint is even on the rubbers etc.

Rusty plastic door handles are a nice touch though, eh? It is a great touch I thought and doesn’t look at all like someone has spilt creosote on it 🙄

That is gonna take a whole lot of sanding back! Otherwise looks okay.

Removed the rub strips yesterday. About two cups full of water in each side

Weirdly, I like this. My new commute is crying out for a super cheap, super frugal snotter... Then get all sorts of rat on it.
