Usually I'd share some more details, but I have none, so you're getting these pictures and you are going to like them. It is a Bitter CD and it has a 5.4 liter V8 in it. I think this may be my car of the year already!

Thats very nice, wheel choice is spot on! The design has hints of Ferrari 365 GTC/4 and Lamborghini Espada about it for me

The Bitter saloon had the Cam in head straight six but in 3.9 flavour if I remember correctly and the one pictured above had a Opel V8

Founding chairman of the company that I worked for in the 80's had one from new - it was quite rare - there's an owners club for them and up until a few years ago you pick them up for sub £15k where has now they are £60k - £80k - I think I would much prefer the throb of the Espada's V12 and I am not being 'Bitter'

I worked at a Bitter dealer in Yorkshire in the mid eighties. We always had about 3 in the showroom always the same ones. I think we sold one in the 4 years I worked there. The other 2 were used as demos by the then boss. One was a C reg and another D600KNW we also had a Y reg brown one come in occasionally but I don't think we sold that one - was really rusty even back then. The guy part exchanged at a massive loss for a BMW 6 series. They were ok but just Opel underneath and typical coachbuilt and GRP with bits of wood holding the dash in etc. I saw D600 at the NEC classic car show a few years back..

Firstly, that Bitter is lovely. Secondly, I did not know until the other day that the Espada was a modified design originally penned by Bertone for Jaguar, in the shape of the Pirana, based on the E-Type chassis. I'm sure everyone else already knew but I thought it was a cool factoid.

Always had a soft spot for Bitter. The CD is a better looking car with a great engine but the SC at least came in right hand drive and relatively affordable.
