Hmmm strange you should also be seeing an advert there, as that is how I can afford to keep this forum going with the image hosting and the whole photobucket issue solving.
I'm also hoping to make a quick navigation thing to add to the right hand side so you don't have to go out to the top level to change which board you are on, as well as some other useful bits and pieces we can't do on the forum at the moment because we previously didn't have anywhere to put them.
I don't see any adverts as I have blocked them in my browser, I don't mind seeing the Recently Updated listing on the "Build" Thread listing, it's when it get to the sub listings like "Readers Rides" I don't need to see it then as the treads I'm most interested in are highlighted as Bookmarks and showing along the top bar of the forum.

I'm currently working on having recently updated bookmarks as a display on the right as well so that should be a good thing for you. The recently updated feed is basically all I can get from proboards, I'd like it divided by section though.
Frankly though if you aren't willing to help support the forum stay up and running by putting up with a few ads, I feel disinclined to consider your request too deeply.
I like RR because it has such a diverse selection of Petrol/Diesel Heads from around the world doing what we all like to and info that's available in the RR community that keeps me coming back.
I appreciate that and appreciate your membership and contributions, absolutely 100%. I do need to keep the lights on though and with all the image hosting we do now (in order to both mitigate the current photobucket issue and avoid a future repeat) I need to cover costs. To which end you may have to put up with some slight annoyances (which we will aim to make as minimal as possible, and ultimately beneficial if we can). Whilst I also sympathise with running ad block, it is also a harsh reality of the world that sites need to live and to live we need some income and adverts are (sadly) the best way for us to do that, so ad block isn't supporting the site it is denying it oxygen.
I run Ghostery to avoid tracking cookies btw which seems to work pretty well.
