NOT HAPPY Saw this thread and thought must book my little pied à terre for the Weekender. You know, just in case one invites Charles Lennox back for drinks or something similar. It was most pleasant with the outside patios and jacuzzi. Maid service and the chef just helped to stave off the guilt pangs of not camping with my confréres but it's my bad back don'tcherknow? Anyhoo the plan was this year, having got to know the lie of the land, was to invite BNMAC back for a barbecue only to find that it was BOOKED during the Weekender. I must say that if it's anyone from the club his/her name will be 'Deathwish' forthwith and will still have to invite us all back for a barbecue. Have some pictures of what I/you/we are missing BUM!!!!!!!!! My solution to this will be to heli in and heli out.

You'll be expecting me to use indicators next! BMW Optional extra - no one buying new specifies that option BMW 740 owner Re the track thing You'll be on the reserve list if you apply We prioritise 1. People who were unsuccessful on previous applications 2. Cars that fit into the "Retro" or "different" umbrella Then we fill in as we have drop outs with reserves - you know how this all works Mark PS Baggsie Pax lap

Hey Bstard, Mr Frankenhealey had a bit of an idea over in the Naughty Corner for RRGoodwood. He put out a bat signal for you to come and see it. I've not got a vested interest in his idea, I'm just curious to know if you'd ever actuallly appear in the Naughty Corner. *grabs cheese scone* (I'm all out of popcorn)

Oh dear.
I'm trying to sort out the club stand booking details to send everyone who wants to be on BNMAC.
Unfortunately the system wont let me log in, so I can't do anything yet.
I hate having to bother Hotwire but I'm going to have to send him a PM asking him to help me.

================== BNMAC MAJOR UPDATE ================== Okay I've sorted it out now. SO... IN ORDER TO BOOK A SPOT ON THE BNMAC CLUB STAND FOR SUNDAY: 1. Go to retroridesevents.comGo to the section called 'car booking' which looks like this... click it and find the form... 2. Input the BNMAC Club ID ( a code number that I hold) ******* PM ME FOR CLUB ID CODE!******** 3. Input ticket purchase #number You will need your ticket pruchase ID number to book a space on the stand. After you have purchased tickets for the event, you will get an email from retrorides confirming the purchase. The subject heading for the email will be something like this... Email subject heading: Order #9986 confirmed You have to input that #number 4. Add all the other details about you and your car, and hit SUBMIT or SEND or whatever the button says at the bottom. That's it. Kind of easy, kind of complicated. As long as you have asked me for the club ID number and you have your ticket purchase reference number it's simple and you're good to go. You can't book a space on the club stand until you have purchased a ticket though. =)

How about BNMAC name badges this year? That way my failing memory won't confuse JohnnyBravo for Giant Haystacks

How about BNMAC name badges this year? That way my failing memory won't confuse JohnnyBravo for Giant Haystacks I think those of us who want to do so, and who chat regularly, ought to try and identify each other... but I wouldn't want anyone to think that they HAVE to have a name badge or join in with any chats to be on the club stand. I for one would like to make sure I don't repeat my terrible performance last year of not meeting anyone, not chatting to anyone, not appearing to be present at all. I'm not camping this year. I have two day tickets instead. So with a bit of luck I'll be there at the crack of brunch ready to meet n greet all arrivals.

I thought the T-shirt approach was a good one, easier enough to stand out or go incognito if you wanted to. Unfortunately Giant Haystacks @johnnybravo didn't tell me I've got a couple weekend camping tickets booked, but no car at present unless the stand/caveat emptor/great emporer would allow such a half-finished err 'thing' on the stand and I trailer it down

Half finished things are more than welcome. As long as they are vehicles, and relatively old. Anything goes.

============ BNMAC UPDATE ============ BNMAC is starting to see cars booked in now for the Sunday club display stand. We have a few spaces still to fill, so if anyone out there in Retro land is coming on the Sunday and would like to join the world famous BNMAC club stand then get in touch, let me know what you got... ... and we'll see if we can fit you in. The time to do it is now, not later when it's all filled up. It's free to be on a club stand by the way, and you get to park your ride on the hallowed Goodwood circuit for the day and take pictures that you can adjust in photoshop to make it look like you were drifting the Woodcote corner in tight formation, like this... ^ That's not even real. It was all done with speshul effects.
