Due to Dave's total inability to advertise effectively I was unaware this has started :
Only a couple of social media posts alerted me to it, and I've yet to actually see it on TV.
Anyone seen it? Looks to be prime RR fodder.

I tried to watch the 1st episode but the narrator has got a really annoying west country accent that grates me. Sounds too fake. I'm allowed to say that as I'm from Bristol me baber!

I sat through some of the one about the Escort estate, and there were some strange things done. They added a "Mexico" stripe for no apparent reason, but bought a "patinated" one rather than a normal one. I'm not sure what that was for - wasn't the Mexico stripe always a sticker, so it's not as if polishing would cause bits of it to wear through?

I like it. Genuinely decent people having a bit of fun. Thoroughly pleasant show, looking forward to more. Viewing isn’t mandatory though, so if you don’t like it you can always do something else

Ah yes, I'd seen talk of the cars going to auction on Twitter but had missed that the show had started.
Thanks for the heads-up HW, will give it a watch.

I thought it was ok, watched the first two and not bad to watch at just short of half an hour, looking forward to the Opel Kadett episode.

Wasn't impressed by the first job on the Rangie, wrong engine with the gutless and grotty VM diesel and a cackhander too.
The Escort was better and there were some good skills glossed over by TVBS. They made a good stick of the body and the stance and wheels were just right but who leaves a helpless hopeless 1100/1300 crossflow in a car like that? I too thought the weathered stripe was OTT! Lets see what they offer up tomorrow!

Anyone seen Modern wheels classic steals, Jesus that’s shocking only managed the first 3 minutes!!! I watched it because the female presenter (Rebecca Jackson) is the daughter of a mate and a pretty accomplished driver in her own right. But the other presenter (who offerered the classics) had no idea, offering cars that were neither what the prospective buyer had asked for, nor were they steals IMO. I gave up after he offered a brown 6 cylinder automatic 67 'Stang to a guy looking for a sweet handling sports car!

I enjoyed it for what it was but the narrator - surely she cannot continue!

I found it watchable. Did like that fact that they were open about them being recommissions rather than restorations. As ever, not enough detail covered in the build itself

I watched it because the female presenter (Rebecca Jackson) is the daughter of a mate and a pretty accomplished driver in her own right. I recall her father (or another relation) is on another popular motoring-based forum site and had mentioned the upcoming programme. If I recall correctly, the thread got quite long and after a few pages it seemed to me that while nothing overly untoward was written, there did seem to be some people who might have not posted as they did, if they'd seen who started the thread. I may well be confusing it with another one, though. I just can't find the time and motivation to watch all of these shows on the off-chance that they actually show one of the interesting bits in enough detail for people like me. If they were just all about the nitty-gritty, though, they'd be on some really obscure channel in the middle of the afternoon like the old Mark Evans "... is born" series.

I like it. Genuinely decent people having a bit of fun. Thoroughly pleasant show, looking forward to more. Viewing isn’t mandatory though, so if you don’t like it you can always do something else Jumped through some hoops to get UKTV Play going on the TV and watched the first two episodes before turning in last night. As I suspected, the man D-Biz sums it up perfectly. It's no Fast 'n' Loud - we Brits just aren't capable of doing that sort of thing I think - but I 'know' all of the guys involved from interaction on Twitter and fondly remember Fifth Gear when both Wookie and Jonny were involved. Also amusing to see other familiar Twitter car guy faces at the auction. There's no doubting their credentials - all would fit in here and probably do - and the premise is great. The voiceover sent Mrs PB to bed after the first one, but that's no bad thing! ;-p 100% will watch again.

Not had chance to watch it yet but I think there’s to many car shows now trying to fill the void Wheeler Dealers left, before it went stateside, and not quite succeeding.

I like it, but then I really like the presenters. More car based TV is always a good thing.
Also Colin Furze bidding on the Kaddett......and then winning the Carina 😂
