Cheers for that rich, just been looking on eBay. I'll be having one on pay day. Also, do you, or anyone else know what the black connector type is called? Looking at batteries I can't seem to find any with that type of plug. Dean's and T plugs seem to be most common. I'll change to Dean's if I have to, but I'd rather not if I can help it. Canβt recall off the top of my head, I know WPL sell them. Bognor might know.. No Idea sorry - I haven't used any of these little connectors that WPL and MN use, everything gets swapped to Dean's connectors here.

Cheers for those links mark. It's late, I'm tired and that mashed my head a bit. I'll have to have another read tomorrow. However, I may not be able to do those mods just yet because I'm having tool problems, as in my drill has packed up, and yesterday when I was all set to paint the camo on the D90 my airbrush broke. It's a 2 way item, I pressed for the air and pulled back to spray some card to get the jetting how I wanted and the button came out. There's no way, I can see, of getting it back in. I wasn't happy. I'm not having much luck with any of my projects atm.

Ok, I've taken the upgraded motor out of the 90 and put it in the 45. It works perfectly forwards and backwards. Which I believe means the bother with the 90 is electronic. I'll look more into that in due course The 45 is working so I'm going to focus on that for the time being. My stepson wants one now, so I've ordered him a MN40 off eBay for 31 whole pounds. I've also ordered 2 servos and 2 motors. When I get paid I'll order batteries, esc's and radio gear. And then cross my fingers the bar stewards still work. π Mark, I've had a re read of your link and understand what you have done. I'll get them upgraded and running and then sort out the suspension.

You'll need to cut that out of the tray and then use washers or something either side of the chass, the mounting hole in the chassis is about 4mm diameter because of the shape of the plastic tray shock mount design. One of the troubles with modding these is it tends to snowball pretty quickly! I was pretty impressed with the standard MN D99s performance - particularly once there was some weight in the wheels to keep it planted.

Yeah, I know what you mean about snowballing. I think it's just a case of having an idea what you want to do, then see what you have to do to get it to work. Mark, what esc's do you use? I've got a hobbywing one in the D90, it's a nice bit of kit, but it's a bit too big.

Quite a lot of info there, thanks. I'm going to have to see where I can mount one of these. They are too big to easily tuck somewhere, as I found out with the one I have on the D90.

Hi everyone
Please can someone help me - I made a mistake and bought a c24 BUT without the remote control bits - so at the moment it's a static (but with the motor too - that came with it).
Pls can someone list the bits I need to make it fully RC?
And any upgrades I should buy to make it durable (and er, quicker?)
Thanks for your help in advance

Thanks for your help in advance Go to WPL-RC.com, you want a battery, V3 RES kit and servo if you donβt have one. That itβs the cheapest, easiest way to get you rolling.

Done a bit of work on the 45. How it looked before I started. After a couple of hours work. I've mounted the battery compartment across the inner arches, to hide the mods I think I might need to make to fit "Mark" style suspension. I think it looks kind of like an equipment box too, so a bit of paint, some detailing and some scale accessories are in order. Final sanding and glueing the tailgate on required to finish off. Waiting for pay day to order the rest of the gear now. π

Done a bit of work on the 45. Cracking, that bob of the rear overhang really helps the looks. The case for the battery is great too - get it as far forward as you can.
