you can easily x-ref on gsp, your originals are a 14mm thread 17.5mm depth and 16mm af, plenty to choose from, find an appropriate terminal and heat range.
i run a BCPR8ES in an engine originally listed to use bkr6ek, or some obscenely proced iridium equivalent. ten quid a set not £40+.

On the flipside I've had 3 cars use Iridium plugs, including my Mondeo and never had a failure; the Black 2.5T did 60k under us and my 2.5T has done 50k and rising; with traffic etc. being seen to it every week. On Copper plugs, especially on LPG applications, I'm lucky to get decent mileage. I saw one car go from stock Iridiums to Coppers where he was getting 5k (Yes, I did just say that) before he saw misfires. That was more like 40k on Iridiums. A Stag specialist has also commented how he's only seen 12k tops from copper plugs since an increase in Ethanol content has come about. That said, I've not noticed that myself in older cars, but then not many did mega miles under me.
I do however buy them from reputable sources. Not all plugs are the same, and even manufacturers will recommend different plugs, mainly due to the tolerances OEMs work to , where one brand won't work quite right from what I've seen.
As an example away from today's work, Mercedes sell a non-resistored German built Bosch plug for the Mercedes M104 engine? Bosch Aftermarket? Only a resistor item made in Turkey. If you search for the non-resistor item, it's a pretty hard plug to find, and only Turkish made ones are available. I'm sure Mercedes would sell the Turkish resistored items if they thought they were fine. But as said, I've seen first-hand the differences (combustion profiles) even in brands between plugs during development.
In your case however, I'd either go with the builder or get a decent plug from a reputable source; I've been stung there previously on my Stag, which had a near impossible to fix misfire.
