I see that you've finally made it to Perth, welcome! The Bakewell is a local landmark, not too far from where I live. Always enjoy seeing your posts on here :-) Yes our Australia ‘family’ is out here so been great to catch up with friends. Back to NSW on Sunday though. It’s been an enjoyable couple of weeks but my liver needs a break. We’re toying with the idea of spending the next 2 years out West if the visas get extended as we hope.

Glad to hear you've enjoyed it here. There are plenty of photogenic vehicles in WA if you're able to return.
Good luck with the visas 👍

Went for a wine and beer tour down the Swan Valley. I did see a Ford 350GT and a 50's Chevy but in passing so no pics so you'll have to put up with this Beetle ornament. That's our friends son sat on the 'carrera' wing. Born in the UK but turned into a proper Aussie. Never mind.

Was meant to be going to a car show today but we've had torrential rain for a few days now so it's been cancelled. One place has had 700mm since Thursday with more forecast.

Been a very soggy week or so in Sydney. 75,000,000,0000,000 litres of water has fallen on NSW in the last week which is enough to fill Sydney Harbour 150 times!
This is a country of drought, fire and flood.

Nice old MG T? sat at the traffic lights earlier. Gave him a shout and a thumbs up when I passed him. He had a big smile on his face as I would too. I've also seen a Porsche 356 and an Austin Healey 3000 but I was driving. Off up to Queensland soon so hopefully more to come.

Gave up our Sydney place on Friday and hit the road to head North to Port Macquarie. Stopped off about half way for a bit of snap and this wagon was taking a break. Don't know what it is but it must've been noisy as the driver stook his ear plugs in before setting on his way.

Yesterday was an almost 500k drive up to the Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise. Got the wife to snap this lovely old Jag that was cruising up the Pacific Highway.

Yellow wags is a Ford Falcon sedan delivery, most likely an XP. The XP was the last of the first generation (heavily US influenced) Falcons and was succeeded by the XR, the first of the second generation (all Australian) Falcons.

Yesterday we had a stroll along the front and a few retros were out for a play. Only caught the two but missed a XY Ford Valcon and a VH Commodore. Did catch this Beetle and (only just) a low rider though.
