Nice spots enjoying these. Moke takes me back to the hire one we had in Cairns, only allowed 60Km without significant extra charges. Sadly the speedo cable fell off after we had got to about 55Km only to magically re-attach when it go round the corner from the depot.... Keep spotting James That's a stroke of good fortune I'd say.

Bay window crew cab pick up. Don't like the white walls personally.

One for grizz I reckon. I could certainly see myself bouncing around in this lovely hearing aid beige pickup. Nice n boxy. C10 maybe? Rings a bell as Quasimodo would say. ] Yes, NudgerSS I do like that. Interesting license plate too. Guess the sticker in the screen above the rear view mirror is a club or affiliation. Lovely truck, that will stay in great condition, unlike one living wild over here.

PS: Does anyone ever challenge you when you take pics ?
And of course, if so, what is your response?

No I've never been challenged but if the owner is there I always ask them first if they mind or not. They're usually happy to oblige but one garage did say no to their 351GT Falcon being photographed which is fair enough.

This ain't no disco baby. Actually yes, yes it is and rather jolly nice too. If that was in the UK, there'd be a row about the nudgebar, let alone the smoke launchers bolted to it!😀 Mind you, a friend who used to be in aus quite regularly said if you intended to do any amount of bush driving you were a fool if you didn't have front end protection fitted, and maybe window mesh too, to protect against'roos and roadtrains...

Reckon. Brother-in-law in Queensland tells a story about hitting a 'roo up in the Territory one time. Reckoned he was doing about 100 mph when he hit it. Wrapped the radiator around the engine block.

Worst roo story I’ve heard was someone running along quite happily at 110 kmh towing a caravan…when a roo jumped in between the car and the van. It made a bit of a mess! ETA, that's not s bullbar. THIS is a bullbar

We've done 4 weeks in Townsville so time to move on but first a few days over on Magnetic Island. Got off the ferry and had a drive up to Horseshoe Bay where this International truck was parked up. As you were. Ooroo.
