Dez: Thanks! Yeah, Pantastic is really cool. I still haven't caught it at the Mooneyes in Yokohama, but it was parking in the loading area of Pacifico while the Yokohama's Hot Rod Custom Show a few years back and magazine's photographer in Japan got me to this area to take a look of it. It's now changed already though, bit more paint here'n'there etc. Will be back in Yokohama next week, cause this year I'm the official pinstriper at the HRCS and gonna get the magazines out there in my booth as well.
grumpynorthener: Oh yeah, Automatron is cool. I've been following Paul's work for years and even got to see the Cosmotron some years ago when it toured the shows. Automatron is definitely on the list, but I will try to hunt down the current owners of Cosmotron and Dualatron as well. Paul's Taxi-van is also quite cool thingamajig.
thousandwords: Thank you very much sir! Yep, got the order and it will go out in the beginning of next week the latest. There's actually even a chance that I might be able to pop by the post-office tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

I have a vested interested as I have a 63 sedan delivery that’ll be getting bagged soon. I always enjoy YHRCS coverage, always plenty of leftfield stuff going on.

How will it be shipped? In a neutral cardboard envelope or just a sticker on the frontpage so any post guy can read it it on the loo before it will arrive?

Inside the rigid cardboard envelope which is then wrapped inside a plastic sleeve: If ordering other merch too, like t-shirts etc, then the magazine is still in the cardboard envelope which is then put inside the bigger bubble-envelope together with the shirt. morrisoxide: Thanks! Yeah, the oddballs are cool

I'm taking a break from forum stuff at the moment but I got home from a hard day working on my car today to find a parcel from Estonia waiting for me. I felt I had to drop back in. I just wanted to say the magazine is amazing. The variety and diversity but all held to a clear theme/attitude... the layouts are cool, the quality of the photographs and the quality of the print is amazing... the quality of the print and finishing is frankly awesome. It's so sharp and crisp on both accounts ( the print and the finishing). I'm really looking forward to diving in to it over a cup of tea on the sofa tonight. Its already tipped the balance for me in terms of whether my own car goes mild or wild with its paint next year. Mild was too easy, mildly wild is the new weird is the new cool! Thank you for the inspiration!

I just went to order, but one thing I severely dislike about things that can only be bought online is hidden postage costs. In this case, a hidden postage cost that is over 50% of the face value of the item. It just lost you a sale.

I'm personally not huge on customised cars so wouldn't have been your target audience anyway, your publication looks interesting but I'd reflect Dez 's comments on cost, at £16.27 for one edition delivered to the UK it looks to me as though you may be shooting yourself in the foot before you've got a readership. Recent history is littered with failed auto magazines. If this magazine is to have a chance of a future you probably need to consider making a digital edition available at significantly lower cost.

I think you find it’s actually £20.55. I don't know if I've missed something as I didn't get as far as inputting personal details to create an account? Yearly subscription 1 year = €38.25 Yearly subscription Europe registered mail = €19.00 Total = €57.25 Total in GBP = £48.82 ÷ 3 editions = £16.27.3
