For sale / swap is my 1998 Saab 9000 CSXS LPT Auto Hatchback.
I got the vehicle as a stop gap which after spending a small fortune on it, has served its purpose so it's time to let it go.
The good:
MOT til March 2020 (no advisories last time)
Only 179,000 miles {average of 8500 miles a year)
New heater matrix (common fault)
Full new set of silicon coolant hoses
New radiator
New headlight relays (common fault)
New top engine mounts
4 recent tyres on 15" Saab alloy wheels
Perfectly functioning 4 speed Automatic gearbox
Strong, tight 2.0 light pressure turbo engine producing 150bhp, boosting reliably at 8psi
Replacement divertor valve
Central locking
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Super comfortable velour interior in very good condition
In car boost gauge where the analogue clock used to be
The bad:
NSF central locking doesn't work
NSR electric window doesn't work
Air conditioning needs regassing
Interior fan only works on speed 4 (resistor pack available on ebay for around £30)
The ugly:
Various marks on the bodywork as to be expected for a vehicle of this age and mileage
In conclusion, it drives well, pulls very well and changes gear as it should with no delay and no noises. It is very comfortable and eats up the miles effortlessly.
Apologies for the filthy exterior of the car...rural Lincolnshire in winter renders cars impossible to keep clean!
Collection only from Harby near Saxilby (NG23 7EW Post code).
I may swap / px, just ask.
Any questions please ask.
