What point would this need to reach ,for you to feel the weight is off your shoulders and you would be prepared to carry on with it?๐ The point where I see it driving away on the back of someone else's trailer! Seriously though, I just want it to be finished and enjoyed by someone, it's been to long and to much gone on for that someone to be me, so rather than just hoarding it for the next twenty years and letting it slowly decay, I think it's best to let it go and hopefully someone can put it back on the road and have some fun with it.

Tony - You have my greatest respect and if only everyone thought like you - however some don't and we all too often see owners retaining ownership of vehicles that they will never do anything with regardless of how good their intentions are This is a 30 second walk from me - its joined by 8 others including another SWB Landrover + MG Midget - several motorbikes etc - all have been left to rot to death for the last 10 years I can only but wish you all the best with the sale - Chris

I do not know all of any potential back stories to this car, but have liked it a long time, including the colour.
It has taken me four years to get back to my C10 resto, and even now, I am yet to start on the actual metalwork, which if you saw the pics before Photobucket killed my account, or maybe itโs back up again, will be a significant challenge, as I do not have the skills of the likes of @grumpynorthener and others of this forum.
However, I am just wondering if a year off it, but keeping it stashed, would see you happy to be reunited.
I sold my Transit years ago, for cheap, and it was the right thing at that moment, but I find myself often looking at pics, knowing it was a mistake(ish)
Good luck, regardless in finding the right solution

If it feels right then it is right. Hopefully it finds a good owner and you can take pleasure in it moving forward. At the end of the day getting your head in the right place is way more important than a bock of metal. Good luck with finding a good person to take it on James.

Iโm sure it was a tricky decision even after all the heartache but glad it seems to have been a smooth transaction to sell it

I will man up seeing everybody wants to know, but wonโt ask.... Who bought it?....๐ I think it's only right to leave that to the new owner to decide whether he wants to tell or not. I hope he does though, he did say he would start a thread so fingers crossed. It would be great to see it getting some attention and being put back on the road.
