Do you know if the Haldex unit has ever had an oil and filter service in its life? May possibly be a good start It's had a couple. I wouldn't expect dirty fluids to stop the rear diff 'communicating' with the ECM in any case would you? I'm thinking I may have snapped a wire when I was cutting the old anti roll bar off.

Donāt older Haldex controllers have a habit of self-expiring? ATP or the likes repair/remanufactured them from memory of my time reading about VAG stuff of the same era.

This is another one of those things that really annoys me on moderns One fault showing can be only vicariously connected to the actual problem š” Iām sure itās done to make you spend your money at the dealership According to the man with diagnostic kit from the owners club, Anti Skid Service message can be linked to (amongst other esoteric things): Traction Control Abs System/ Reluctor rings brake pressure sensors Steering Sensor/ Yaw sensor Rear Diff (on 4x4 models) Stability Control Front Driveshaft bolts So it is a bit random for sure but if you've got the right kit, very helpful.
