Back to DVLA with a certified translation from www.businesslanguageservices.co.uk - fingers crossed, DVLA were a little vague as to who was acceptable to use. Apparently usually applicants use a local university for this, but mine is all but closed at the moment due to Covid and summer holidays.
The application had a sticker on when they returned it which seems to show which parts of the process I had passed.
Only the DATE and FEE pieces are not ticked, so looks like this dating cert is the only sticking point (fee is taken once accepted I assume).
...and V5 in my hand today, quicker than I expected! Just need to get insurance and I'm off.
Does anyone have any experience of how long it takes for the reg number to be recognised on insurance websites? Currently they are all not recognising the number. They do say I can call up, so may end up that route, but would prefer to get on the comparison websites as it's a lot easier than ringing around multiple brokers.
