I also noticed that links to RR uploaded pictures are broken on the first page of my Strato's thread - if you click on the broken link icon it will down load the picture so I imagine its still on the server but something is not working. And oddly the RR logo is also a broken link Icon - Hmmmmm - will have to see if turning my PC off and on fixes its not liking something

Lots of chat on proboards support pages about the change from http to https messing image hosting up, but nothing global so I think it’s a site specific problem this time? Has rmad or HoTWire been trying to fix the original problem that affected some users?

It is a Forum problem as the icon has gone from the top left of the header as that's written into the forum script text and if that has gone it's a scripting problem.
Someone some where will pull there hair out trying to find the fault.

Oh oh I know what is wrong ... it is all https now and the image uploading is not! (neither is the logo store ... eeeek ... well that is my evening out the window and I'll be fixing this)

Cannot upload either, in Chrome I'm getting the following in the console:
Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://retroridesimages.azurewebsites.net/Image/Upload/tessierashpool'
from origin 'https://forum.retro-rides.org' has been blocked by CORS policy:
Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check:
No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
I don't recall there being any recent changes to CORS on Chrome, but there was one at the end of last summer.

I don't recall there being any recent changes to CORS on Chrome, but there was one at the end of last summer. It is because the forum has moved from http to https ... I need to ensure everything it is connecting to is https (and has CORS set for https not http), I was aware this was coming, didn't realise it was this weekend :/

Still not working for me on Chrome I'm afraid, but the CORS issue is gone. No errors now, starts to upload (gives the message that it is working) then message goes but no image adds itself. Happens on drag-drop and by button. Unrelated, but your favicon and also RRheaderlogo.png are not on HTTPS yet, from your post above you may be aware of these two already...

New uploads are fine but for some reason the older ones in My Strato's thread are still not appearing - although the logo is back

Example: images.retro-rides.org/darkspeed/dch8mdiq_zpsu6z7i7c0.jpgAh yes I'd forgotten there was a period where I was effectively fetching the files directly from the blob store. Hmmm have to see whether I can https that, should be possible. If not I'll have to do some sensible re-writing on the image routing stuff and make it work through the newer code.

mr HoTWire all has been well for a couple of weeks (thanks for sorting it out) but i have a new issue where my hotlinked photos are no longer showing ? i have a bt business website specifically for hosting my images, traditional method of wrapping the URL with [ img] tags on here. the images appear as dead links, ive tried firefox, chrome (PC) and also browser on android phone (4G connection), they are dead on all of those. if i right mouse the dead link icon, choose open in new tab, they show fine (same deal visiting the website manually) the exact same photos hotlinked on 2 other forums are showing ok (xenforo and VBB) the exact same photos hotlinked on 1 other proboards forum, not showing. process of elimination, proboards issue ?
