Garage Build Query

Hi All,
ive got a 15'x15' space to put a shed/garage with a single garage door.

now ive been looking at bases and came across this product that looks like it could be easier than concrete and save me a ton of money

what do you all think?

i know concrete would be better but just looking at options as we price it all up as ive got plenty of free shingle and this would make the first part of the install very quick

What type of construction are you planning to build on top of it - masonry / wood and are planning sheet / cover the shingle base over at all ?

fully wooden, marine ply floor on beams covered with rubberised covering

Its certainly going to be free draining (providing you are not directly on clay) - I would strongly advise laying a geotextile down once you have completed the excavation and prior to the infilling of the grid mesh with the shingle but otherwise you should be fine

yup the kit I'm looking at comes with a geotextile liner as well, ive started clearing the area and taking a look before deciding on a path
