1990 FORD FIESTA RS TURBO
1.6 CVH TURBO CHARGED
Was bought at the beginning of the year (pre lockdown) as a project and throughout the lockdown 1/2 we have been working as hard as we can to complete.
In our ownership:
New shocks all round with lowering springs, New discs, new drums, new pads, new brake lines & new brake fluid.
New heater matrix, new front radiator, new coolant bottle and fresh coolant
New head gasket, cylinder head acid dipped, new valves, springs, head bolts, new camshaft and new poly retainers.
Turbocharger is new from previous owner, minimal play and works good. Cambelt, water pump and tensioners all changed. Complete engine gaskets changed.
Body has already had previous welding done to it, we patched up a few places which needed doing. We installed new wings, OS & NS both spot welded in.
It does not have power steering, OS/NS inner & outter track rods changed. Tracking done so it drives straight. Recent New alternator added to the engine bay.
Gearbox was removed, new ball bearings, new selector guide, new 5th gear and new oil. Complete overhaul!
Complete engine bay has been over hauled, wiring neatened up, wall area's painted.
We have done a complete strip down and build from ground up to where you see it.
Its up as a project due to falling out of love, it starts, drives, stops, pops and bangs. Its a complete vehicle but sadly too many people have let me down on this project. We have full V5 and said paperwork to above work carried out. Anyone is welcome to view, no test driving on road but we can show you its a true beast!
