The v70 (p1) is in need of a suspension refresh after 200k on the originals..
I've seen a kit on parts for Volvo's for less than 300 quid. It'll lower the old barge a touch too.
Anyone used these before?

I bought some of their springs from ecp for a bmw a few years ago.
Seemed fine to me.

I have and had issues, but there were reasons why, which almost any aftermarket spring will suffer from.
-GSF and ECP these days only stock one or two springs tops per model. In the case of a Mondeo Mk3 for example:
1.8 5 speed or 2.5 Auto? 1 Spring. No joke! Oh, and one spring for the STs The dealer? Try around 10 springs. This depends on the engine size, the spec and the car having sports suspension or not.
Everyone will now say the Germans are different. You're having a laugh! E46 M3 Coupe and Cabriolet ; 1 spring! ECP? 1 Spring! Yup! for a floppier and heavier car, it's the same spring and damper.
With that in mind:
-If the car's a bit of a smoker Lesjofers will be fine. However, if it's a heavy engined car I'd debate getting an alignment done after a month, of wing the springs go lower ; This happened to a Mondeo 2.5 Auto we had ; We didn't and it killed the inside of the tyres due to the lower ride height. -If it's a keeper, go genuine or with a decent set of coilovers from Bilstein etc.
