so a friend of mine, the terrible enabler that he is, linked me to a Renault 30TS w/ manual transmission for not very much money.
instantly intrigued, i started digging into researching the car, and started to realize that Renault reeeeeally didn't sell a ton of these on this side of the pond, and there aren't very many left on the road in UK/Europe either.
i'm an absolute whore for rare cars, but be honest with me. how deep is this hole i'm about to jump into? how screwed am i for parts if i buy this thing?
thanks in advance for any answers!

Hmm. Ontario Snow Salted Roads 1970's French car made from French steel............... 1970's plastics.
Is it BROWN?
Admittedly an interesting car from the design and styling point of view. Excellent ride for the era and very comfortable, but uninspiring to drive from what I recall. Practical but boring. You are sure to have the only one in the local show!
More in Quebec? I don't know how Franco-Français the Quebecois are.
Spares support? Sorry no idea even in the UK let alone Canada, but good luck!

If it's got the V6, then isn't it the PRV engine for which a few were sold over that side, including in the DeLorean (for which I gather there is a good following for in North America)?
I thought the majority of the snowy world don't just throw salt on snow; they actually move it rather than wait for it to melt but they also tend to get a lot more of it..

Yes, it is the PRV V6, in 2.7L form. in regards to the car though... well, it didn't matter in the end. someone else found the ad and decided half of facebook needed to know, and posted it on a dozen or so HUGE car pages. and so the auction went crazy near the end, and my potentially-300$-Renault went for well over 3000$ at auction close, which is waaaaaaaay outside my current budget(insert I AM THE POOR gif here)
