Hi I have a set of 8 spoke wantanabe wheels. Unsure of the metal used on these. Would anybody know if the rims would just polish up or given the age do they need a refub of some sort? Photo below, Thanks

Do they need returning? They look OK in that shot.

The outer rim would probably polish up. Depends if they are lacquered or not. I'd guess not.

Had a good look and you’re right they seem ok and like the natural fade on the spokes. Is a clear coat of spray paint sensible to help protect from elements and brake dust or does alloy not need it?
