Only realised recently (maybe it is recent?) that Camskill appear to do their own 'brand' of tyres now (e.g.https://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s94p190318/Camskill_Tyres_Car_Camskill_Car_Line_M103b_-_195_45_R16_84V_XL_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_C_Wet_Grip%3A_B_NoiseClass%3A_2_Noise%3A_72dB)
They're also very cheap, but the specs seem okay. This means that they are either the ditchiest of ditch-finders, have a butter-like wear rate, or are just cheap because it's Camskill and they don't have the rep or marketing of other brands?
I did try googling but found absolutely no mention of them.
I only really need them to meet the brief of seeing if some wheels will avoid scrubbing with a slightly smaller profile/width and, if so, a couple of thousand local miles per year. No track days, motorways etc. These seem to be priced about the same as part worns would be, to be honest.
Any opinions/anecdotes?
