Honda s-mx mini project I say project, because she requires the bottom bodywork tidying up, and that's pretty much it This is the LowDown model, which is the one to have. Deep bumpers, lowered suspension, Orange interior, what more do you need? Engine is nice, crisp and strong. Gearbox is standard s-mx auto, flares the gearchange on occasion between 2-3rd, would benefit a lot from a fluid change. 200k on the clock, though 120 of them were in km, so 150k miles give or take She will be on the standard alloys which have excellent, pretty much new tyres There's a double din headunit that plays video, if that's your thing I was planning on spraying the bottom half to the swage in a slightly darker grey, I did a quick photoshop to give you an idea. So there you go, a cheap s-mx. As mentioned, she's on the standard wheels, the 17s can be had for £100 £700

Bottom bodywork needs tidying up? Is it rusty? Hard to see in the pics what you're trying to show. I'm interested in a mini jdm project so as much info you can give would be appreciated. You're 2 hrs from me.

Sorry, I should have been clearer 🤦🏼♂️
Both the front and rear bumpers have paint crazing on them. These are factory bumpers, so I'm guessing it's a factory issue.
I've had a garage weld up the sill on the drivers side as there was rusting around the clips that hold the kit on. This means a little filling is required at the rear arch end as the heat has tweeked the panel slightly.
Both rear arches show surface rust, but it really is just surface, the metal looks in fine fettle to me.
Its why it's cheap though. A mediocre one is still close to a grand now.
I'm genuinely only selling as I've bought a Cabstar and cant be bothered with a shuffle round on the driveway every time I choose a different vehicle

I´m kind of glad someone else buys it. Otherwise I would have been tempted.
Never seen one before, obviously never been sold in germany or perhaps all over the continent.

Did I mention the seats make a bed?
Or that the rear folds up to make a bulkhead and its like a van then?
Handy stuff.
Oh, the steering wheel is from a later Civic and cost a fair whack. The airbag works (well, it should, I'd rather not test it), the original is comically large
I've got the original tv / sat nav unit and cd changer as well, if that's your thing.
I'm 98% sure the exhaust is aftermarket as well. It makes a nice subtle tone.

Hope the cabstar is getting a thread!! Genuine surprised everyone loves a Cabstar 🤣 I’ve always loved the shape of them, think I posted on here about them once and posted photos of the newer ones on Instagram before Christmas. Unlikely I’ll ever do it but thought it would be nice to have the Acty on a cabstar bed.

There's one of these about half a mile from where I live in Oxford. It looks interesting and different, and the 3 spokes are really cool. GLWS...

That's cool as, if it was closer id be more tempted than I am already. I guess it must be the same PCD as a range rover? How odd, and cool

How odd, and cool 5x114.3 standard Japanese fitment These are FreeLander wheels, i'm going to hazard a guess the chassis isn't very British on that??? The source of the PCD could be quite complicated, 4x114.3mm equates to 4x4.5in, which is the old BMC size as used on Maxis, 1100/1300, princess, allegros, A60, and whatever else before or after that lot. I think I'm right in saying that Nissan inherited the PCD from BMC when there was a tie-up So the chances are 5x114.3mm is actually 5x4.5in, which is basicly a long-winded way of saying that I cant answer that. I don't know where it orginates from for sure. But I guess that's aconversation for another thread.
