For sale is my 1990 mk3 Ford Fiesta popular plus 1.0L with only 28,300 miles on the clock, this has been my first classic car and is ideal for anyone wanting to get into classics or even just owning a reliable low mileage run about which is very cheap to insure.
The car has only one previous owner who bought the car brand new in 1990 and is in fantastic condition, the previous owner literally wrote pages upon pages of diary entries for maintenance and service work carried out, it’s never been welded and has no rot or rust in any of the usual 90s ford areas and the paintwork is lovely.
It comes with very rare Ford Escort Mexico RS2000 steel wheels and caps (worth around £400) which have been powder coated and really set the car off, the tyres are also good. I’ve added 35mm lowering springs and brand new original Ford stock shock absorbers all round, other than that I’ve only performed maintenance such as:
•oil and filter
•air filter
•spark plugs
•coolant flush and change
•rocket cover gasket
•temperature sensor
•window washer jets
The car runs exactly as it should and starts first time, it’s been cared for now for 30 years and really reflects that, it has NEVER failed an MOT which you can check online which is testament to the great condition of this now rare car.
