Sorry if this had been agreed multiple times before I failed with search. If I fit a petrol V6 into a modern transit what happens with the emissions.
Previously it was MOT test as per engine age with proof but I believe it was changed last year to must be tested to age of vehicle and original emissions, obviously there's not really much point smoke testing a petrol as hopefully it would be an easy pass if it didn't explode with no rev limiter in place.
Likewise with the dpf and other diesel emissions gear if it is removed is it a fail?
Common sense says it isn't but it would be good to have a second opinion
