I've decided to put my 996 up for sale. I bought it October 2019 with 112k on the clock and its now still only 113k. My job is part time so my mileage was always going to be low but i've been working from home since march and it looks like my employer will be keeping staff at home until the new year. My wife works from home mostly and with my mini marcos resto coming along, the porsche isn't being used enough. Great fun but will be sadly missed.
Its an early 1999 cable throttle (preferrable) 3.4L with the better twin row IMS bearing, 6 speed manual gearbox 300bhp (later cars have FBW throttle and weaker IMS bearings). Spec is silver with black leather. Standard seats, sunroof, traction control, LSD and optional (original) hollow spoke turbo twist 18" alloys. MOT till October20.
Pulls like a train, good idle, no smoke and good oil pressure.

Lots of history including new IMS, RMS and clutch pack in early 1999 (at 109k). Its had the fan resistor mod and leaf grilles fitted to the front bumper air ducts (essential mod). Full tread in date main brand tyres all round on recently refurbed rims. It was repainted at some point and is in good order bar a couple of minor stone chips (certainly no dings or dents). In my ownership, i've fitted a new pioneer DAB bluetooth headunit (have factory original), fitted a steering wheel with better leather, gt3 front brake air ducts, oil and filter 50 miles ago (april20 - previous oil was March19), pollen filter, helmholtz resonator removal (have the bits to refit), new main and side light bulbs, new 993RS solid rubber engine mounts plus a powerflex transmission mount assistor. Its had a Dansk exhaust system fitted at some point as well and its had the tricky-to-fit AOS replaced.
Work still to do is to swap out the the original factory gear shifter. These are prone to wear so I have acquired a 997 shifter. They are a straight swap, better designed and have a 15% shorter throw.
