I want/need to paint the house.
A horrible job, as most of the house is pebble dash, some of it really coarse and only good for a wet brush.
Last did it about 8 years ago, no idea what paint I used but it lasted well, whatever it was.
Any advice on paint, price, supplier for exterior paint.
I see B&Q are doing Sandtex at £20.00 for 2.5 litres
Seems expensive.
I am going for something darker than Magnolia, sand or similar.
Anywhere else worth looking, nd other brands you know are worth their 5/10 guarantees?
Thanks

Thank you guys.
I am happy to pay for quality paint. And though B&Q have a discount deal........
Just came to local (10 miles from home) B&Q and about 40 people waiting in their masks (plums)
They have a strict and stupid one out one in policy.
Raining too.
So walking away.
Other options exist.

Sandtex is good, but I don't envy you that job. My first job leaving school was "small house renovation", first house was massive and it took me near on a week to paint it all white. Soul destroying job.

I don't mind painting, it's the prep that I find tedious. Probably too late now but is spraying it an option?

Cornish cream. Hmmm, scones...
Sorry. I use Sandbox too but fortunately my house is smooth rendered. Still a hell of a job.

Buy one of those cheap Electric spray guns and chuck it when you’re done. Your wrist will thank you.

You could probably put it through an underseal gun too
