At present the wife has a Dacia Sandero which I don't think will tow it.
According to this website a Dacia Sandero would have no trouble towing a Sprite 400. Even the little 900cc would be safe - if a little slow at times.
They only weigh about 500kg so they even slip under the 750kg limits unless you get seriously silly with loading them.

Went to look at the caravan last night and left a deposit on it. Lovely little thing and going to be a great project for us over the coming months.
Some history with it too, it has a 20ft telescopic tannoy pole in it (it was mentioned in the ad). The ladies father used to rent the caravan out as a PA, with the pole fully erected with the old type "Bell" shaped speakers on it. It was used at motocross and race events.
I'm also getting another van with it as spares.

It's coming out nice, he's sorting out the outside at the moment but the interior is nearly completed.

We used to have one of those sprites, had to replace a fair bit of rotten wood but after that it was a great little thing, used to tow it all over the country with a 1300 mk2 escort estate, bit slow but it managed it, mind you did overheat and damage the engine in my Anglia towing it (1600gt Kent engine radiator wasn't up to the job).

I have seen so many caravans for sale that have been 'upcycled' by owners and ruined in the process. However, this one looks really nice and done with taste instead of just slapping white paint over every surface. Nice combination of colours and flooring. Could do with something being done to the sink/microwave cabinet though just to finish it off. Maybe paint it in white and blue too?
